It's adorable! I know some girls my age (17) who have that necklace, and adore it! It's perfect for a 14-year-old. She will LOVE it.

Okay, i think that at 14 she might get intimidated by such a large present like that, try something with a little smaller pendant and something a little less expensive. She might also not know how to react, or she might not react how you want her to, and end up hurting your feelings. You could also try a really detailed gift such as taking her out to a movie she really wanted to see and talking to her about the things she loves, that she will remember for a much longer time.

I think it's very cute- but a little expensive. Really, boyfriend/girlfriend gifts should be less expensive, but more sweet and meaningful. I would want something like red roses and a box of chocolates with a really sweet, loving, long handwritten letter or card.

(a little too expensive though) Go to this site: http://americanchic.net/CrystalHeartPendantNecklace.html They have a necklace exactly like it but at a much better price with matching earrings. Their prices a great. You can get her a Hello Kitty necklace & bracelet set that they also have, too. (girls like Hello Kitty). :)

It's just perfect- classy not too much at all- simple chain, obvious pendant (intention-wise). I'd suggest getting it if it comes in white gold- that always adds to the shine factor :)

its really beautiful, but too much for a 14 year old gf, and waaaayyy to expensive! try for something like that at walmart or kohls! i dont spend that much on my bf and we are 17!
