Your parents have a spyware program on your computer or a service you can sign up for.
I truly agree with what they are doing by having the service but as long as you are not doing anything wrong I think they are going alittle overboard. I mean I would use it to let you be you and to watch you.
I think it's wrong to restrict you from doing what most people are doing. I hope you don't go crazy when you leave home because you've been so pent up. Just try to remember what they are trying to do is for your own good and that they really really Love you.

Delete history, make sure no parental control software (or privacy service program) is running, and use a browser other than IE. Hide a copy of Portable Firefox on a flash drive of yours, and make sure your parents don't get hold of it. That will make sure they don't.
I don't have to do all that, though. I just swore an oath the first day I could browse the internet unsupervised. I've upheld that oath ever since. P.S. Myspace is a web predator site in disguise. It wasn't intended to be, but it is.
If you can, remember to honor what your parents say!

If your computer connects to the internet with a LAN to goes threw their computer they probably have a log . If your computer goes threw a router or wireless connection the router has a log . What they are doing is easy to find out if I told you you were not allowed to go to a site I would block the site and you wouldn't have to worry about getting grounded cause you wouldn't be able to get there

There are number of software options that parents can choose from to accomplish what your folks have done. You may not believe it now, but there are valid reasons for their concerns. It is a sign that they care. Grounding you is to reinforce the idea that rules must be obeyed. If you disagree, talk it out rather than disobey them.
Bear in mind that I do NOT know you, my comment is a general one.

Sounds like they have some sort of spyware or keylogger program set up on your computer. If they do, you will have no way of knowing it as these programs run in stealth mode (in the background). The only one who can gain access to these programs is the one who set it up as it will require a password.
Why not try doing what your parents ask you to do, and with consistency then ask them for some 'downtime'?

As well as the history, check out your Cookies too. These can be clear signs that you've been on a website. Also check out your Temporary Internet Files [ie. Cache] as that can also be checked.
All of these can be deleted by browsing your browser's Options menu

They probably looked at your history of visited websites. They may have went to View, clicked Explorer Bar and clicked on History. Just be honest with your parents and hopefully, with time, you will regain the trust and they will loosen their rein a little bit.

Here's my question to you. You're a senior. You're probably 17 or 18. Why not just buy your own computer, or tell your parents to mellow out because you're practically an adult?

Your parents must have use a special computer program on you, so they can find out what website you have gone to or they must have gone through your computer to see what website you have been to.
