I have a t-shirt that I got in school, but it's waaayyy too big for me. How do I shrink it into a better size for my petite body?

-Wash it in hot water, then put it in the dryer on high.
-If the dryer is not enough:
1. Turn your new teeshirt inside-out and lay on the floor.
2. Lay a teeshirt that fits you well on top of it.
3. Pin the outline of the fitted shirt on the new teeshirt. Make sure that the design of the teeshirt is even.
4. Sew where you pinned. Keep in mind that you might have to move or re-do the sleeves, because they might have shifted.

If you are not good at sewing and the teeshirt is still important to you, have it altered professionally (a lot of dry cleaning places also alter clothes).

wash in HOT water and dry HOT if cotton some will shrink a lot and some won't

a clothes dryer is usually a great option...it shrinks cotton

put it in the dryer or get the shirt tailored by a professional.

uhm...you could wash it and put it in the dryer...
or you could sew the sides to make it more fitted...
or you could also sew the sides and cut the top off..if its crew neck... it'll look really cute!

the only way is to wash and dry it....or cut the sides into strips and tie them together...thats cute too!
