Without knowing more about him personally--which unfortunately I don't--that would be a difficult question to answer. Just because he wrote a satire on a particular type of governmant is no indication of how he thinks; it may, yes, but not necassarily.

id say 6 1984 was a satire on the whole idea of socialism.
with recent developments in america he would say something like this "good job guys your getting closer and closer to folowing exactly what i wrote" but in all honesty he would be glad to see that the world isnt like that allover

If anyone knows anything about Orwell, they'd realize that he did NOT agree with what went on in his book 1984. To see it come true in "The Land of the Free" would bother him.
