Because you are newly engaged and all happy and excited and cannot wait to get married and start your life together and then the wedding date nears and all the planning and confusion take over and the parties that you have and the ones that people give for you and all your famililes and the drama and the guest list and the controlling mother in law and stuff like that makes it a lot less fun! Trust me, i am experiencing this right now!
