I had often wondered why the "bills" (notes) are all the same here and had never considered the problem for the visually impaired. I do think colour difference is something that should be considered for everyone, but I think a size change would be expensive. There are so many machines that read money that there would be allot to change. I wonder if something could be added to the bills to make a difference, some sort of embossing etc. Not that it would be braille, but at least give a similar enough effect.
Just a thought.
Hello from Colorado and I love Liverpool, two of my best mates still live there and I visit whenever I go home (Manchester).

About time too!! I am not visually impaired but when I went to the states a few years ago I was shocked at how difficult it is to tell the notes apart!! They are the same colour, pretty much the same size, and the amount of the note is written really small in comparison to Engish notes and notes in other countries!
I think they should make their notes different colours this would help those with jsut minor visual impairement. Another way to make the notes distinguishable is maybe put some kind of strip down one of the sides, or in the corner in which each note has a different textured strip to it. This would certainly help the more visually impaired and maybe even help to make it more difficult to counterfeit money!

Different sizes, plus in the US all the money is the same colour which makes it really confusing, even for someone not visually impaired. At least in britain I know if I see blue it's £5, orange £10 etc.
I think that would be a good start - colouring all the different denominations different colours!

As for me, through a extreme ailment that fluctuate into clinically determined in 2006, I had to provide up numerous issues; i'm purely 30 and additionally had to alter my portion of specialization as an electric powered engineer. the nice and comfortable button is: its solid to be certain a field of section that matches the superb quite than protecting a desperate destiny.

Yes it should be re-designed. The British system is a perfect example. Colour and size.
