my sons teacher is jewish. do i not get her anything!? do i get her 8 things!? there are cute ornaments that say teacher but they dont have trees right!? HELP!!!

I'd get her something for a teacher but not an ornament or anything else related to Christmas since she's Jewish.
Try http://www.teachergifts.com/ Or you could just get her a gift certificate to a teacher's store. That way she can get what she wants. She'd probably appreciate it because she probably ends up buying some supplies for the classroom with her own money.

Just get one gift. Don't get an ornament. get a candle, or movie tix or something else. A token of appreciation is the point for teacher gifts, not religious celebration.

You can get her a nice book or maybe a photo album. Anyone can use one of those.
BTW, I have two Jewish friends who both put up trees.
Actually they love the Christmas holiday, so you never know...
