Recently, I was confronted with criticisms towards our group.

What hurts the most is that they are talking to me as if I am not part of the group when all the while they keep putting us down--making a list of all that we did wrong.

Honestly, they do have a point and we would, of course, consider everything they said.

The only problem is that they are putting it on a completely personal level--blaming us for everything that had happened all the time and constantly reminding us of our mistakes.

When someone criticized me for something I couldn't even help, I ignored it at first. And then the behavior just became constant and even more bothersome. So, I told him that I really didn't appreciate the way he was acting. Later, he actually called me up one night and sincerely apologized to me. I thought it was considerate of him.

Just let them know that you don't like the way they are treating you. If they don't do anything about it, don't deal with them anymore. You're better off without them.

What does your group do? Those who criticize you are they part of the group? With the information you have given, all I can say is that if you judge the criticism you receive to be constructive, then try to correct yourself but on the other hand, if you consider the criticism as unfair and unjust, pack your bags and leave the group.

When being criticized learn to take it on the chin, and instead of seeing it as a negative try to see it as constructive criticism.....pick the sense outta nonsense, and if it is just blantent and spiteful realise it's how the other person really feels about themselves, let it roll off your back like water off a ducks back.
