I got a free hamster from a friend and I wanna have a guess on how long it'll live.

2 yrs it is very rare for a hamster to live beyond 3 to 4 yrs max generally 2 even with the best of care

Not too sure about the teddy bear type, but i doubt it would be much different than a typical hamster. Which can live anywhere from 4-9 years. If it is good and healthy, you can expect at least 7 years.

anywhere from 2-8 years.... I had a couple of hamsters live to 5 and one live to 7.

1 1/2 to 3 year's, Depends on how well it has been taken care of!
if it's been fed the right food?

untill the kids throw it downstairs in it's ball. or the cat eats it. or your husband feeds it too much an it gets stuck in it's hamster trail. (if you average all three, it's about a year.)
