A cell has 23 pairs of chromosomes, so 46 total. In a spermatozoid or a egg, there are only 23 (they're not paired) in order to be ready to be joined to another gamete.
As for the interphase, since it is done before mitosis or meiosis, where the cell gets ready to become two cells, the chromosomes are doubled. They go, temporarely from 46 to 92. (Mitosis and meiosis don't occur in gametes.)

ALL Cells that are not gametes (spermatocytes and ovum) contain 46 chromosomes. After interphase, cells contain 92 chromosomes!
