i think people actually like her because they can relate to her. she got caught in the public as being very vulnerable when she made her sex tape and everyone knows how it feels to be vulnerable. People admire that because she still did her thing with her show The Simple life and her small roles in movies. She even has an album out. Plus, shes heir to the $180+ million fortune so she doesn't need anyone to be sorry for her.
