Why is our world good? WHy is it better then having a world that has every possible mistake or bad thing you can do taken away like in The book the Giver??

If there were no differences, we will all be clones produced as replicates of each other in the factory of the world.

Variety is the spice of life. Different outlooks, opinions, and thoughts promote inner growth in the whole of human kind. some of it is ignorance being shouted from the hilltops.. but some of the masses that need a good alternative to what is within their culture or lives use other peoples;cultures;philosophies to bring about a positive change in theirs.

differences support people in justifying their terminally unconscious and, often, homicidal behavior. i think jonathon swift spoke of the big endians and the small endians? two cultures that were in the process of exterminating each other because of a disagreement over which end of a soft boiled egg one should open in order to eat it, "properly". kind of sums things up for the species, eh?
