What mall do you shop at? Never seen that at the mall.

2 things: they dont pay him so that he can go buy vodka, thats his own doing
and they hire anyone who will do it....
i think that you should stop being judgemental, just because he is homeless doesnt mean hes necessarily an alcoholic, he may have lost his job and want to have some money for christmas for his family.

Eh......how did you know this Santa is a homeless guy?
And how do you know he will spend his money on Wodka, do you know this homeless man??
And besides....if YOU were homeless, wouldn't YOU like to buy a bottle of Wodka, just to have some fun, or maybe, for at least a short while, to be able to forget the situation you're in?
At least this homeless guy (IF he is one) works to get his bottle of Wodka, which is better than steeling it.

How do you know he is buying vodka did you see him? Its just as bad to judge and stereotype the homeless as it is a race of people like Jews and blacks, my father was once homeless and it had NOTHING to do with alchoal he had been in a near fatal car crash and lost everything because of it.

Do you know that for sure? If you don't, then don't say it. So what if they do hire a homeless person to be Santa Claus? I'm sure he was interviewed and accepted as a clean, responsible person. At least he is working, trying to make a little money instead of eating out of dumpsters.

lol-that's funny. Maybe the original guy who was supposed to be santa stole the homeless mans boddle of vodka, & then said to him: "Fill in for me, & they WILL pay you! then you can go buy some vodka!-WHOA! WHOA! I'm not in the mood to deal with your whining! -OR them screaming kids tonight!....now hit the road!!!

if its one thats always around the liquor store then try and see but if you have doubts then dont try it. and 20 is a lil much to be paying the homeless guy to do something give him ten. if he ask for more then he really not homeless because homeless will take anything.

Because nobody else will do it and it brings the little brats to the mall in spades and what's more the parents spend money at the mall.
