My friends think that I am going through a phase and that I'm not really attracted to females. How do you feel about Guys and Girls? Do you think being Bi-sexual is a phase, and that (people whom consider themselves to be Bi) will eventually pick one??

I've been going through a gay phase with men since I was 12... years later I'm still going through that phase. I fall in love with guys and I can't help it.

I've been out as bi for the last 10 years. Six years prior to that I identified as a lesbian and dated women only. So, I would have to say that I don't think bisexuality is a phase. I am out to all of my family and friends and every time I'm with a man I get a collective sigh of relief. They have expectations that I will eventually settle down with a man, yadda, yadda, yadda. I am currently with a man and he is aware of my bisexuality. However, just because I am with a man now does not mean that I won't eventually end up with a woman, I'll just have to see what happens.

I've been bi for 40 years, and I know others in my age bracket as well, I've never had any inclination to pick just one, why should I? Women can have taut athletic bodies just as well as men, they can also be just as intelligent, educated, strong, and independent, in short, the perfect lover. By what logic would I want to give up half the people I'm attracted to just make the gays and straights happy?

For some, bisexuality is that phase when they're experimenting with their homosexuality. For others, it's a curiosity they grow out of. But for the select few, it's real. It is how they are. They can love both, and defy convential society who tells them "You must choose!" Only you know which you are.

Just continue living your life how you are, without listening to your well-meaning but misguided friends. You'll find out sooner or later what your personal truth is.

I guess in some point is right cause yes ppl just choose one to spend a life time with them... but if your friends think that it is just a phase...i think thats wrong... they just need to accept you the way you are, if you like women it´s fine is not about a phase is about being who you are and loving what it makes you happy... but yes at some point lesbians, gays, heterosexuals needs to pick one don´t you think??

Only time will tell. Just enjoy the ride called life. I've known since I was 12 that I was attracted to people regardless of their sex or gender.

i think that if you have enough courage to openly have a relationship with someone of your own gender, it is not a phase. all the abuse society throws your way makes things difficult for you so if you don't believe in what you are doing it definitely wouldn't be worth it, would it?
