Sounds like male pattern... men on your mom's side of the family is who you take after. My dad is indian and has a full head of great salt and pepper hair. He is 82. But my mom's brother's, (my uncles), her dad (my grandpa), her uncles (my great uncles) where bald from before I was born. Needless to say, I was balding. I am not trying to promote this stuff, but I started taking those meds that block the male hormone (cant think of the name) about 4 years ago... and I wish I would have started when I was 18. But they didnt even have it then. UR lucky in a way... its expensive, but coming down in $. This med didnt affect my 'drive' at all. Propecia, affected my drive, and dont bother with rogaine. Good luck, hope this helps. and they say keep a clean scalp, but dry it out by bathing too much. (oh and no ball caps!)

Here are some questions for you.

What do the older men in your family have in the way of hair. Uncles, Father, Grandparents. If they didn't start loosing their hair early, you may want to check your diet or see a Dr., Otherwise it could just be male patern baldenss. Also, stay the heck away from steroids, juicing does nothing good for your hairline.
