i want to know what it means to the people who celebrate it- and if there are any kwanzaa songs.

Do a search on it but I believe it was created by a Black Panther guy in prison to sway blacks not to celebrate Christmas.

Kwanzaa was invented in the sixties,and while the black majority back then was earnestly trying to end segregation justifiably,Kwanzaa was born.Now,I am in no way racist by any means,but it kinda bothers me a great deal to see African-americans buying into the idea of Kwanzaa,because to me it radiates a principal ideal to bring back segregation.We are all one as a nation,when blacks born christian disreguard Christmas because it was promoted to them by the "white man" and now celebrate Kwanzaa,they alienate themselves from whites in general

Google it. But, it is about appreciating what we have. It is similar to Christmas where it is about sharing and giving of gifts. It is also similar to Hanukkah. Kwanzaa is celebrated over 7 days. Each day is celebrated with a different value. It is a reflective time.
