Look at it like this. Shawn Marion is a proven, consistent fantasy player. He is no doubt a top 3 in most drafts, and rightfully so. Josh Howard will rarely give you problems, and what you see is what you get. With Amare Stoudemire and Ron Artest, you take risks. Amare is heating up a little bit, but remember, he had microfracture knee surgery. This is the same stuff that destroys superstar careers (Kenyon Martin, Grant Hill). Ron Artest has had a good season thus far, but hey, you know the deal with him. He could get set off anytime. When you look at the superior, consistent production of Marion, added on to the risks that the other side gives you, don't do it.

God no. Stoudemire is still an injury risk and is no where near Marion at this moment. Artest is good and a bit better then Howard. So that leaves us with Marion for Stoudemire and Artest which is about fair. Now add Howard and you have now make it a trade in his favor. Do not do it. Dont trust Stoudemires knee

No...No...NO!!!! Marion is a fantasy numbers beast!!! Top 3 and Howard is a reliable source of fantasy numbers. Not that Stoudemire and Artest arent very good, they also are exceptional talents but think about Amare's knee and Artest's mental state (who honestly knows when something crazy will happen next with him plus he does have an injury history also-missed a couple games this season already)and you will quickly realize this is too risky a deal for you. Stick with the 2 you have.

That's a very good trade. Shawn Marion is solid, but Josh Howard is up and down. Amare is starting to get into a comfortable rhythm coming off of his injury and Ron Artest is usually solid every night. I'd say it's a good trade.

Make that trade as soon as you read this. I know it may seem iffy now, but it will help you out in the long run. Amare's still getting used to being back on the court, his numbers will return to what they were when he was putting up 26 a game. Ron Artest is one of the highest scorers in fantasy points, thats a definite plus, and he's definetely a better pick then Howard.
Plus look at Artest's team compared to Howard's. Artest is the go-to guy on his team and his minutes are going to be huge where Howard is maybe the 3rd scorer on Dallas.

No. Marion and Howard are a better combo than Stoudemire and Artest. I have Stoudemire on my fantasy team and he's not consistent yet. Marion has better all-around stats than Artest.
