Dyslexia and Disgraphic are the two major ones for reading and writing.
Dyslexia affects the comprehension of letters and numbers, IE twists them ect.
Disgraphic is just that, the inability to draw round shapes. That would affect the writing on the black board or copying from a black board as well as writing in general as it causes the person to become uncomfortable or seriously irritated as well as causing them to drop the letters that they can not write.
Some common traits that I have noticed in my husband as he has both of these, he refuses to write things down, as well as read as it just bothers him, annoys him or confuses him. Proper help early on will help with this, however when we were both going to school because the teachers ignored both of these issues and refused to help him but instead flunk him, he just about didn't graduate highschool, and it now causes him not to do any of these things because he is under the impression that he is "stupid" while in reality he is dang near borderline genius if he could focus and settle down and allow the help.
There is also the general Mathmatical Learning Disability which I have, I can't comphrehend general addition and subtraction, it takes me longer than most to figure up precentiles and the like. However I can completely understand Geometry and Trig. Both math intensive yes, but because it also deals with shapes it makes it a little bit easier on me, where as Algebra Multiplication, Division and the like are basically greek to me. I cashiered as well as waitressed for awhile so that I could force myself to use those skills that I didn't comprehend as well as the next person. It helped me out quite a bit actually as now as opposed to highschool I can do most simple addition sub., multiplacation and division problems in my head. Algebra I still don't understand but thats why I am going into nursing so that I can understand better that skill.
Most learning disabilities come from having Attention Defecit Disorder *ADD* or Attention Defecit Hypericity/Hyperactivity Disorder *A.D.H.D.* I have serious/severe ADD my husband has serious/severe ADHD. Both are treatable with therapy and if you choose to accept them Prescription Drugs like Stratera and Adderall.
I hope that this helped you out some.

Too many to count. I'm afraid you will have to do a lot of research. Check out the Counsel for Exceptional Children (CEC). You might find more answers there.
Research is your only way to get a cohesive answer. People's opinions on yahoo will be too broad if you are trying to write a paper.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learning_disabilities <--provides some good info.
There are so many different types of learning disabilities with such a range of symptoms that it is hard to answer your questions. Dyslexia is a well-known learning disability that impacts reading/writing aptitude and could impact your ability to copy assignments. Please remember that people with learning disabilities are not "stupid" or "retarded" and with modifications they can be very successful in an academic environment.
