It's the commercial where they are having a wedding and a lot of out of town relatives arrive. During the commercial it shows the bride and groom jumping over a small broom. Does anyone know the significance of that? I've never seen it at a wedding before.

This is an African-American custom dating back to slavery. Slaves were not allowed to officially marry, and this was a symbol for them.
