I assume you mean American versions of the World Atlas? In that case I'd say no.Most wall atlases show the American contininents on the left and the European / Asian / African / Australian continents on the right divided of course by the ocean in/near the center

What about Arab countries and their atlases!

When you make 'references to the world,' where you want to go somewhere, you have to start from a reference point, and those that are close to home, the 'Known' is always the best for 'where you are.'

American maps do. However, American atlases usually have America in the front.

Every countries globes and maps (atlases dont really show have a middle) show that country in the middle.

Some do. Its not a "we're the best thing" its more of a "here's where the rest of the world is in relation to us" or a "you are here" kinda thing.
