Does anyone else think that this one isn't going to have the same effect as the other Rocky's have had? Seeing how as the last one came out in 1991, the visual effects as well as the whole qualtiy of the movie are obviously going to be better. But will that have an effect on on the fans?

I, personally think that it will turn out to actually working as an advantage that it's bee 15 years since we've gotten another one. And I look forward to seeing it.

Rocky is better but Balboa is a nice bookend to the series in terms of quality and similar themes, the films were never quite as good when he was rich and owned robots!! (Rocky 4 is still a good film though) I hope he doesn't go back to it again as Balboa was a great ending and no one wants to see him crawling up those steps on a zimmer!!

rocky movies are different in way; that they have their special audience that are very loyal, so they are going to like it no matter what. as for the rest of the people some of the them might like it some might not depending on how good the movie is. so combining all these factors, the movie will at least have a decent effect

It will probably be a good movie for Rocky fans. I just hope it has a good song to go along with it. My heart still beats faster when I hear Rocky I song!

I think this one will be pretty good. It will probably mimic the storyline of the original, and come full circle. It'll be nice to see the old man back in the ring.

Oh and just my opinion, but as a boxing fan, this movie will bring back some excitement to the heavyweight division. No boxing fan can honestly say that there are any real good heavyweight fights any more.

And thumbs down to who ever it was that game me one.

He wanted to finish the story like Lucas and Star Wars. I agree that it should have been made years ago, but at least he made it. I heard a unsettling rumor that Rocky will die?

My question is why didn't they shoot this movie 10 years ago....I mean is it really plausible to think of an what 60 year old Rocky as a fighter? I think not.

I think a lot of people will watch it as Rocky comes out of retirement and so does Sylvester Stallone. It's going to be awesome!

Yeah, after watching the trailer on Fanpop, it just looked ridiculous, because Stallone is 60 and it shows. But that being said, I bet I'll go see it just because you can't help but root for the underdog...and he is seriously an underdog as a senior citizen!
