Unfortunately there isn't really anything you CAN do about the present dbdads. BUT, parents could do something to prevent "Dead Beat Dads", by bringing them up not to be dead beat dads. Start now, and there won't be many in the future.

How about the DEADBEAT MOMS. My Ex wife walked out on me and my 3 sons 5 years ago, she ows me over 21K in back child support, she refuses to work and says since I make good money she dosent have to support the kids. My point is there are as many deadbeat moms as dads, men are just persecuted thats all. So why isnt my ex in jail, 5 years and 21k later??????? If it was me (a man) I would be in jail.

They should stop hogging up all the poster space at the local courthouse, and make room for all the dead-beat mothers out there who also don't live up to their responsibilities!

first of all we are Innocent until prov-en guilty, each case is different,what makes a dead beat dad? what ever the answer is,its always the children who looses out.

in canada you cant renew your drivers license. however my ex is a dead beat mother. dont just pick on the dads. why not change the word to deadbeat parent?

My father is a deadbeat dad, and he refuses to pay, so we could take their favorite possessions as collateral and keep them until they pay what they owe. It would be a hard lesson for them to learn, since taking their possessions is the same as what they're doing to their children--depriving them of money they need to cover their living expenses, doctor bills, college titution, among other things.

my dad's a deadbeat, right now he's in prison. i could never hate him or even dislike him. just let them live.
