Kinda like Wide sez.... you just gotta keep lookin. Also, it could be the age group you are looking at.... younger guys are more into playin the field and gettin off than they are into having a full-time, "serious" relationship. You may find that an older guy [I'm not talkin 60's here, hullllooo!] fits your relationship needs. He's likely done with the "perving" or running about and is looking for someone to settle down with for a more stable partnership.
Best wishes....

I have to agree with the 1st gentleman's answer as well.. All those things. Not exactly sure what you mean by "perve". Does that mean they want to have sex? That's what we do among other things. I met my first love through a personal ad (OMG). People said you couldn't do that but alas, you can. I,despite myself, have been in a relationship with a wonderful guy that I met (gasp) in a bar.....Thing was, I wasn't looking and didn't really wanna be there. Went with a friend as his insistence and ran into my LOVE. I can't agree more about what the other gentleman have said regarding becoming involved with organizations not based on sex. Don't look so hard for him and let people just see who you are and you'll also get to know about them alot more...Now I don't know what your sexual limitations are but when you do meet the relationship guy and take him to bed, he may have wild ideas in sensual matters that seem "pervish" or wild to you..Just be real careful in judging people to quick. See, they might of thought that whatever thing you call perve was what you "wanted". We're all just humans trying to make it all come together somehow. Man, I wish you the very best of luck..Figure out what you want in a man and look for it..It's there...Your time is coming! Peace!

Well, some suggestions I can make -
Where are you meeting these guys? On the internet, or in a bar? That does not tend to be where relationship-oriented people hang out.
Do you make your expectations clear from the start? Do you communicate them clearly?
It's not that you're doing anything wrong, but you may want to shift your focus. Try an interest group like a softball or bowling or swimming group - where people have something other than sex in common.
Good luck!

All I can say is you're not alone! There must be other young gay males out there who feel the same - I'm one of them. As sad and frustrating as it can be sometimes, I try to hold onto the words sung by Diana Ross and The Supremes forty years ago... "I remember mama said you can't hurry love no you just have to wait she said love don't come easy it's a game of give and take..."

your picker may be broken. lots of men are into relationships and monagamy. rethink your places to meet men. don't be so hard on perves tho. i'm one and my woman, also a perve, have been together for a long time. perve is good when you keep it between you two.

Wow---I love your question.
I don't think I can add much to Wade's excellent answer except to hang in there. There are lots of great men out and about looking for the same thing you are.
I know couples with 50 and more years together, so I know it is possible.
