No the water will not enter your vagina and get to the tampon. That is one reason why many women prefer tampons is so they can go swimming and not have to worry about their period. Just put in a fresh tampon when you are done swimming though as the cord will be wet etc.

Yes it can, but I've never had any problems swimming with a tampon. Just make sure you put it in properly.

Technically, I suppose it could, but I've swam with a tampon many times and never had a problem. I usually just change immediately after coming out of the water.

No, it's not possible as long as the tampon is inserted correctly. The only part that will get wet is the string-there's no need to skip your practice, & I know from experience-I wear tampons when I surf!

You should be fine. I never had a problem. I generally just use tampons for swimming and pads for the rest of my period.

no, not usually. It is possible for water to wick up the string, so you may want to (not to be crude) tuck that away.

Even if water does wick up the string, you won't be likely to have any issues, you will just need to change it sooner. Nothing bad should happen.

I would say try to change it soon before and after, but don't stress out. You will be fine.

It can but as long as you change your tampon after practice you should be ok.
