After connecting to your computer, you can select your IPod within I-Tunes and you'll find a troubleshooting guide- this may help prevent having to completely reset the I-Pod (no wiping out the entire memory). You must have the current version of I-Tunes though. It will walk you through the whole process, you just have to answer the questions on the screen.

FYI- This happened to me TWICE with TWO I-Pods. Both times they happened after putting the I-Pod on one of those radios designed to set them in. Two different radios, two differant Ipods, I don't think it was a coincidence.

you probably have a weird setting on that song:

Go into iTunes, select the song that is being skipped, right click on it, at the top of that, select Get Info. Then go to options, and towards the bottom, see if "skip while shuffling" is checked. if it isn't, i dont know what is wrong

If you're lucky and have all your songs on your computer, you may be able to fix this by resetting you iPod, and re-loading your library.

If youre not, you may have a malfunctioning click wheel.

Try seeing if you messed with the song's settings in iTunes.
