You dont unless you buy the full version of adobe! Furthermore, To take a text file and turn it into a pdf is a totally rediculous idea considering the file will be at least ten times larger in file size! There would only be one reason to do this and that would be to make it a file no one could edit! If thats your goal, print it out and run it thru your scanner, save it as a jpeg!

You can get software like Adobe Acrobat which installs like a printer driver - you "print" to this virtual printer and in turn it produces the pdf file. There are other software like Adobe too. You can also go to the Adobe site - www.adobe.com and they can do it online for you. I think you get a few free, they you have to pay some small amount per document.
Open Office is fine -it is free it can read word and output pdf files, but if the word document is heavily formatted, I have notices that sometimes formatting gets all messed up. Should work for simple documents though.

You can download PDF writing software, i've used cutePDF, then to transfer from a word document to a PDF you simply print to PDF, as you would print to a printer, then save the resulting PDF file in a folder.

Primo PDF is a free PDF creation tool. Install the software then "print" your Word document but select PrimoPDF as the printer.

You use a pdf creation program, I sugest u get Flash Paper2 from www.macromedia.com . Then, after install, just print your document and select as printer Macromedia Flash Paper 2. Then save it as pdf or as swf.

workplace 2007 has a loose upload-in available that enables you to shop as a pdf. to function this selection only hit the ribbon button, factor to shop as, and choose locate upload ins for different report formats.
