There has been a ton, way more than what the last guy said. When they first started finding them the Europeans used to grind mummies up and sell the powder as medicine. It was the method of burial for many people in the world, specifically ancicent Egypt if you weren't royal or anything they just tossed your mummy boddy in the sand, which helped with the process.
