You do not pay a dollar on days that the phone is turned on. You pay a dollar on days that you use the phone. You get a rate of ten cents a minute along with free Cingular mobile to mobile. The other option is the flat rate of 25 cents a mintue.

The coverage is not as good as with a normal rate plan. Actually, Tracfone is a reseller of Cingular... they operate off of cingular's network, so you will get comparable coverage as with Tracfone, just more bang for your buck.

Right now, Cingular's offering a $20 mail in rebate along with new go phones. So it will save you some dough.

Good luck!

Basically the plans go like this for prepaid. You can get a straight 25cent/minute 10/text or with 10cent/minute 5/text but you have to pay an extra dollar for each day the phone is used but you get unlimeted mobile to mobile. Or you could go with pick a plan

You can pay monthly an have the payment automatically deducted from your account or you can buy the pre-paid cards. The little camera phone is cute and not bad on price.

there is 3 plans..
Pick your plan (need credit/debit card) includes free nights and weekends.. $49.99/mo or $69.99/mo the $69.99 also comes with free mobile to mobile...

then pay as you go..
25 a minute flat rate.... no free nights/weekends no free mobile to mobile

or
10 cents a minute with free mobile to mobile but not nights and weekends, but each day you use your phone it charges you $1.00 but if all you call is Cingular/Tracfone or Net 10.. you wont get charged nothing else
