This may seem ignorant, but ...?

Does Springer still come on? I heard someone say that Maury took over his show, but I think what he really meant was that Maury stole his time slot and has his ratings on a lot of channels. And, can Montel survive without having the psychic on his show every Wednesday?

Yes Jerry comes on. it's just that he comes on before Maury comes on. Then again what's the point Maury is doing nothing but turning into another Springer..If you ask me it's all pretty lame anyway.

I haven't seen Springer on, but yes, I've seen Maury, usually in its place. Both shows seem to be poor to me, however. They're not much at all. I recently saw Springer on the Tony Danza show, but I cannot recall whether he stated he was still working on the show or not.

And I've wondered the same about Montel - I thought the psychic was a one-in-a-while guest, not the only big guest they have. Talk-shows seem to be becoming lousy, except of course shows such as Late Night With Conan O'Brien and such. I only say that because I believe comedy prevails. But that's off topic, sorry.

I don't think I helped, I believe I just put in my two-cents worth.

It seems like every time I turn the TV on and Maury is on it is the same old thing..."I'll Prove You are my Baby's Daddy!!" Every. Single. Time. Blah. To me it is equivalent to Springer's shows which were also the same, but a little more funny with things like "I Cheated on You With a Midget."

As far as Montel, I haven't heard that Sylvia is leaving but I don't watch it that often.
