Dang . . . I feel like I answer this exact question a gazillion times. When you guys start typing these questions, doesn't Yahoo suggest similar questions to you? Because this has to be the fifteenth time!
Anyways, a few points:
1) Sexual attraction isn't just about genitalia. Honestly- most straight men wouldn't be able to be sexually aroused by a person who looked entirely like a man (hairy, a beard, short hair, etc.) but had breasts and a vagina, and gay men couldn't desire that person either. It's obviously a mixture of your parts and how you look and act- and for lesbians who get off on penis-shaped dildos or strap-ons and even pretending those parts belong to their lover, it's only because it's on a woman. If it were on a man, it wouldn't appeal to them.
2) A dildo is not a penis. It is not a substitute for a penis. It is a sex toy, and a sex toy only. I suppose the question to ask is- is a dildo really shaped like a penis? Perhaps a better definition is the fact that a dildo is shaped like the exact shape that perfectly fills a woman's vaginal canal- and penises also happen to be shaped just the same. (And believe me, there are a lot that lesbians love to use, which are, indeed, differently shaped, differently colored, for fun and pleasure and to stand out as sex toys and not 'penises').
3) A lot of lesbians do not like penetration or anything related to it, and in their relationships, they do not have that element. So remember that not everybody does that.
Hope that helps ya!

For the most part homosexuality is something you are born with and then start to realize later in life when your hormone levels begin to rise. All though in other people being homosexual can be a choice, because there isn't anything that is stopping someone from choosing to be homosexual if they wish. Just remember that most homosexuals were born that way. Even other animals are homosexual, scientist have seen it in lions, birds, monkey, and other types of animals. Also, even if homosexuality was a choice that doesn't mean that they would then choose to be heterosexual if other people disapproved of their homosexuality. It's not like atheist will become theist just because some theist disapprove of their belief. So all those people who are bashing on the gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered need to leave those people alone everyone has the right to be whatever they want, I don't care if a guy wants to f**K a cat. I really don't do whatever you want as long as your not doing it on my front step or physically harming mean than it doesn't matter.

nice going...you have just implied that men are the same as dildos...great question. Perhaps you are a dildo, but I take issue with the question. I think I have more going for me than a shaft. Have you ever thought anything out to a logical conclusion before? Perhaps it is time to sit back and rumintate.

Not so simple. Not all use dildos. I'm perfectly happy with my hands, however, maybe some like a phallus at times. Or maybe they just don't want the rest of the human that comes with it. Or even better, maybe some have fantasies of having sex with men/woman.. Or something. Who knows.

Simple physical shape. Why do men hold their hands around themselves when they masturbate? The shape fits the purpose. That's it.

Because we're not attracted to MEN, no one said we're not attracted to sex!
Gees, what part of LESBIAN don't you quite get?
Penatration is still penatration. It's what's attacted to it that we have no use for.

this is becouse of how she and her "parts" are designed..
a "female" plug will attach to a "male" plug simply becouse of design, not becouse of preference. how or why they get off does not directly define anything -nor does it set any guidlines for who she is attracted to. strictly functional
