Not to take away from Harrison Ford as an actor, but David Janssen was a better Richard Kimble (the Fugitive character of "The Fugitive") than Ford was in the film based on the series Janssen starred in.

Janssen's eyes helped his performance.

I don't think that TV series ever really translate well to the big screen. So in that respect David Janssen's portrayal was better.

He was much better I have no doubt because he was able to be the character for a much longer period of time..I would compare it to the character on 24...who would make a better Jack? Keifer Southerland who originated and has played the character for several years or someone who has just played it for one movie? I does make a difference.

Yeah I agree with you. Maybe because he was the original. I'm so use to Christopher Reeve playing Superman that it's hard for me to see anyone else play the part and do a good job.

H.F. did an OK job in this flick, but nothing to write home about.

Tommy Lee Jones, however, stole the thing.
