I have replaced my fuel pump a week ago because my dodge carvan 2000 would not start. After the pump was replaced it was running rough and the oil light was coming on with the bell warning sound. I checked the oil and it seemed to be about a quart low which I replaced. Still the oil alarm kept coming on. I was told I needed a tune up. Replace spark splugs and oil change and filter. The van during starting would make a sound like it was not going to turn over until it finally didn't turn over. I was told I needed a new battery which was replaced and now the car will not start at all. Then I was told the starter had burned out due to turn over .Starter was replaced and the car did not start. There is plug hanging from the starter that no one seem to know what it plugged up to. I was told that this was a diagnostic plug. Where do this plug belong ?
What can start the car?

it may be the alternator, they circulate fairly ordinary. yet, we basically had our gasoline Pump replaced additionally and that they mentioned that it may die like that even after the area became into basically replaced with a clean one. Take it returned to the situation the place you receive the gasoline pump replaced and function them verify that returned, in the event that they warfare and value you for that, they are in a position to't because of the fact the area as quickly as put in is below a 12 month manufacturers guarantee. So definitly have them re-verify the gasoline pump to make certain they have been provided that preliminary fix precise, have them verify the floater on your gasoline tank as nicely, after our vehicle became into fixed the floater became into caught and our gasoline gage became into constantly analyzing incorrectly....you may available be out of gasoline????
