When:USA, on or after November 17, 2006
Where: Unfortunately the answer is not so simple.

It's all about 'supply-and-demand'. Right now there is a huge 'demand' for the Playstation 3 console and not enough 'supply'. This is when 'opportunist' thrive, you get people that buy four, five, six or even more consoles at a time, then they turn around and price gouge, leaving you either heart broken or penniless. You gotta give it to them though, most retailers love a good profit but they can't profit unless they have happy customers so they implement some strict rules to purchasing new consoles and the 'gougers' get around them. So true in life is, "If there's a will, there's a way...".

You can always try importing a console. Get online and try to reserve yourself a console from Europe, the release date is somewhere around March 2007. Along with that is a laundry list of problems you could run into. Those problems are best saved for another time.

Your best bet is to shop local, that is assuming you live in a decent sized city. Hit up, call, all stores that sell electronics, miracles do happen. Most PS3 reserves dried up after 'Black Friday', the biggest shopping day of the year.

If you get lucky you might find a store that will have some on hand to be released just before Christmas. Retailers love to string us along, thats how you make the big bucks baby. You have to be PROACTIVE, if you want this thing your gonna have to work your *** off for it and in the end it may be for nothing,

A PS3 in your hands before Christmas or anytime soon for that matter, looks grim. I'm trying to stay positive but I'm a 'realist' for I've been in your shoes.

well there are lists that people are on right now, because stores are only getting like 10, so honestly it will be a good 5 months before anyone actually gets their hands on one for a decent price because i know im not paying 699 dollars or even 3000 like i have seen on ebay. i will buy a x box 360 and play that until the playstation drops which will be a few months after christmas.

i in my view very own a 360 suited now and its superb it has have been given the pink ring approximately 4 cases yet all you should do is unplug each and every thing wait a minute and your waiting to flow. even nevertheless my cousin has a PS3 and that's good in my opinoin the abode website for the PS3 is larger and it has internet and instantaneous and unfastened on line play i think of the 360 has way bettr on line play and is easyier to speak along with your freinds and stuff like that, it is likewise approximately a hundred or 200 money extra low-priced id choose the 360 and if u have been to get the pink ring you coul basically call xbox deliver it and and characteristic it waiting to flow in some weeks

Toys`R'Us, Circuit City, Game Stop, basically any store that sells electronic games & systems should have it. You may have to wait until after the Christmas season to get one since so many jackoffs bought up the initial supply in order to make a killing selling them on eBay. If you find someone selling one on eBay, shoot them in the head. I did, and it felt GREAT!

I'm sorry to say that all the ps 3 are sold out and the only way to get one is to luck up on shipment day. I reccomend calling stores in your area and ask when they expect to get them in and then go from there. Best of Luck!

Go in to stores such as target, walmart, and best buy, or gamestop and ebgames and ask them when their next shipment and see if you can reserve one. There's a lot of people trying to buy it right now.

at this point, you'd have to place a special order if you want to pay factory price....and that'll take at least another 6 months.

there's always eBay and other online sites...but you risk getting taken (fraud). There are a lot of fake PS3's out there...

The rpoblem is that most store when they come in, they go out.

You could try Circuit City, but lots of luck on that
