okay...i need new ways to do my make-up...i wear tons of eyeliner & mascara. what else should i do? any ideas?

i love liquid eyeliner. :)

first of all, if u wear Tons...try just using a Highlighting pencil/shadow on the Lower lashes.... that means white, gold, silver.. no black!

get some gel, pencil or liquid liner... i like using a dark green or purple instead of plain black sometimes... keeps things interesting. line as Close to the lash as possible, only go thicker when u get the ends, flick the tip upwards a bit to get a bit of "cat eye". use a light shadow over the lids, and then a darker shade at the edge of the crease. it will open ur eyes up, but not look to heavy. only put mascara on the Upper lids. it looks cleaner that way, and the lower lash lined w/ the white/gold/silver color will make your eye look bright.

then follow up w/ a nice blush on the cheekbones and upwards

a nice glossy lip or nude lipstick, and ur done! :)

I would suggest purchasing the book "Making Faces" by Kevyn Aucoin. He was the most incredible makeup artist ever and the book is fantastic! It's an easy read with plenty of pictures and illustrations. It has easy to follow step by step instructions. I would even venture to guess you could pick it up very inexpensively on Amazon.com. The follow up "Face Forward" is more of a book that shows lots of his best work and many stars made up to look like other people. It is not as instructional but great once you get the hang of doing great makeup!

Go very simple & natural - I sugest getting whipped foundation - it covers nicely but doesn't say MAKEUP!

Eyeliner looks very unnatural, you want to look more natural - you can use a light reddish colored eye shadow if you want stuff for your eyes. Mascara is ok.

Use a little bit of powdered blush on your cheekbones (smile!) and a little dab on your nose. Get lipstick or lip gloss to match the look!

To change your look just lighten up your look. Wear less eye makeup, eyeliner and mascara. Wear a different eye shadow and then you will look different.

Instead of eyelineer on the bottom use a very light line of eye shadow. Use really natural light colours. You'll look like a new you!

oh first put on some bronzer one shade darker than you skin tone. then apply blush tot he cheeck bones. then curl eyelashes and apply eyeshadow right below the crease of your eye. pick whatever color looks good on you. then apply eyeliner, but not that much and try a different color than balck. like brown, or gray. then apply a brown/black mascara. hope that works! yea i do the same thing so when i need a change i got the complete opposite..well not totally, ill just wear mascara and then line my eyes with a sparkly white or just white. i think it looks like it makes your eyes bigger. from goin black and looking smaller to bigger

also, if your going for a more "edgy" look try going edgier but classy. im pretty goth but i wear my makeup so it isnt over the top.

try using a dark color, but not black on the crease inside your eye. then a brighter on the lid

lighten up on the eyeliner and mascara... they make your eyes look smaller. go for a more natural look. like nude eyeshadow.

We did a survey in class with all the boys & they said that eye shadow & shiny lips are what turn them on the most. lol
