Since it's a line, it's phony. All lines are phony. Phoniness are never good. Figure out the answer to your question from the information given.
I've never given any female I was interested in a line. I just approached her as I am and was either accepted or rejected. If you have to use a "line", that means you're insecure and don't know enough about females to realize it isn't how clever or good looking you are that attracts them. It's your sincerity that most attracts females. Learn some of it.

Hm... It really does depend on the girl and what her likes and dislikes are. Everybody is different (I've been doubting that lately...) so of course the results vary... But it's definitely better than some of the other crap I heard.

It sounds a little too technical. She might be like..."Huh, what do you mean?" Then you'll have to just come right out and say what you should've said to begin with - that you want to be her boyfriend.
