i'm in a seperate room to my partner,he is playing football on the xbox,but we're both having a drink,my 4 children are asleep,i'm on my 3rd pint,it feels great,let your hair down girl and enjoy yourself,its fine to do something that you wouldnt normally do,thats what lifes about.

Nice to see all the previous posters are really empathizing.
Hey I've been there with the teenage thing and t's bloody difficult.
I only have the one son, could NOT do 5. You have my respect on that one.
So what? You had a drink? relieve your stress. it's not the end of the world.
But to sort things you need to be sober. Tell husband you're not happy and that you need his help with the teenage daughter. She will listen to him before you anyway....especially if he is stern.
If he's totally useless then boot him into touch.
I would rather try to do the parenting bit alone than have a "spare part" if you see what I mean

join the club girl, 3 teenage boys, 1 in bed, 1 out with uni mates, 1 watching a movie, told him to go bed ages ago, about 10 times, give up! 2yr old daughter giving me sh1t, so now on the red wine! hubby in Libya, lucky b@stard!
Just get it down ur neck and feck everyone else!
