You can't. People pigeon hole others because they have to have a set of values that apply to individuals and groups. When these groups don't fit in to their preconceived notions about a person, place or thing: It blows their minds! (Examples: They begin with statements like these: all women are, all men are like this, all Asians are good in Math, all Africans are lazy etc...)
The person or group doing the stereotyping has to investigate themselves and ask why they need to do it. They have issues they need to address for themselves before crippling a whole set of individuals or groups.
