I have sound when I listen to a cd but I have no sound on the internet?

Look in your "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" which you can get to in your Control Panel. Instructions in the link below.

Once you're in there, make sure the volume setting is up. Also click the Advanced button to get into the Volume Control, and make sure Wave's Mute isn't checked.

Try restoring the default settings in the internet - tools option.
