i think that Arrian just loved Alexander (..The Great) and so wanted to show him as a brave noble hero.....was he really in your opinion??

The victors write history. They also kill people that write the "wrong" history if you happened to be living under Alexander's heel. Arrian may just have been building Alexander up so as not to get lynched.

You expect a guy that slaughters whole cities that don't submit to his rule to be nice?
