"It will lift the lid on foreign investment in US airlines and provide for effective economic control by those interests," BMI spokesman.
The Saudis have plenty of money. Would this lead to the possibility of more Saudi pilots in the cockpits of US planes? This sounds like more of the same, the Bush policy of selling this country to foreigners. Seaports, military installations, toll roads, bridges, national lands and oil leases ( especially in the Rockies ), and now Airlines? Does Bush have America the Beautiful on the auction block?

Might as well Bush double talked that Port deal. Said it was off and a Year later the Same Corporation owns most US shipping.

We gave China most of Americas homes and land. Credit Card Wallmart debt is secured by peoples house value. China owns the debt China owns the mortgage.

We should sell the Army while we are at it. All those men in Iraq could drive over to Saudi Arabia and become the Saudi oil security force.

The issue is not so much that the United States is trading in a global market as it is being done all the while the Bush/Cheney administration, if one can call it that, has been stirring the lowest common denominators among us with "fear level" charts, xenophobia and imposing a crushing financial burden on state and county governments and airport owners for the pretend "duck and cover" drills and heightened security. ANTHRAX! ANTHRAX. EEEEE! The sky is falling. And, the Conservatives and others who are traditionally roused by such moronic propaganda tactics fell for it hook, line, and sinker full of cowardice.

Ok, first off, homes and jobs and the real estate that you speak of are not related... If you are a Chinese business person and you buy an entire city block in New York, it does not guarantee you citizenship or the ability to live here. Of course, if you have the money to buy an entire city block, then we WANT you to live here... It is worrisome how much we are in debt to other nations, but I think outsourcing our jobs to other countries is far worse than allowing foreigners to take part in our real estate market.

this is the same guy that wanted to sell our ports to a country with many more 9-11 links that Iraq had...

apparently, conservatives want to fight terror, unless terrorists want to buy something from America... then we should take the deal... and don't worry about the consequences... I'm sure everything will be fine...

guh...

Wasn't that his attitude with the ports deal? I am tired of him selling our country to the highest bidder.
