I have a lot of hair on my body. My legs when I was 8 looked like a 13 year olds, but I wasn't going through puberty then. I have a lot of arm hair, and getting a lot of hair on my chest, not just the middle of my stomach, but everywhere, not like a lot of people, and people say that's gross, what should I do?

Ignore anyone who says it's gross! Kids will make fun of ANYTHING that makes one person different from another; if it's not one thing, it's something else. But differences make us individuals, so differences are important. A lot of people think hairy guys look really cool, by the way.
But anyone who focuses on something superficial about your appearance is not worth spending time with. Get some friends who like you for your character, your intelligence, or your sense of humor. Those things are a lot more important to the people you should get to know than anything superficial about your body. The older you get, the easier it will be to find friends who are mature in their judgements.
Body hair is NOT gross. Enjoy it - it means you are becoming a man faster than those silly little boys who make fun of you!

Hey Ryan,
Try different things until you find the best compromise between time you spend and the desired look you prefer. I too am hairy, but so far, it seems that most everyone attracted to me (women and men) say that is why they noticed me... go figure... so i have found that just trimming my leg/chest/forearms/private & under arms hair is best.. that way it doesnt grow back thicker. Which happens when you shave it. You can do that with just a pair of hair clippers $25 for a good one. Then only where the hair really is bothersome.. neck/upper arms/back/odds spots on your body use a razor if you must, but an electric razor does best.. and it tends not to make it grow back thicker... mine has actually gotten thinner and weaker, but it has taken 6 years before I started noticing the weakening. Just be happy with how you look, I know from a close friend (who has no hair-smooth) likes my hair, and has wished he had it. I know, it isn't obviously what you want right now, but give yourself time to be comfortable with this and the new look you will have with the "trimming compromise." GoodLuck

It depends on whether you think it's gross. People who make comments about your appearance tend to be shallow and not worth knowing. I certainly wouldn't care to be friends with people like that.
If you don't like the hair, you can shave or wax; but either way it will come back. I would just get used to it. It is who you are, and you will meet someone one day that doesn't think it's gross - I know many people who find it very attractive.

Hi. Don't shave it off! Who cares what people think. That's sexy.
Not all women are so shallow that you need to shave it off. My
mans entire body is hairy. He felt really bad about it. But I love runny my fingers threw his ( happy forest ). It's part of you. You should be proud of your heritage. Just because stupid girls like
guys that look like 12 year old boys. Some day you will meet a
WOMAN who loves how manly you are.

Well, I guess you can just go with the hair I, I guess. Another option would be laser hair removal. The only problem is that I heard that it can get expensive. Personally, I would live with the hair.

Wax, laser hair removal, or shave. Laser hair removal is expensive but is least painful and gets the job done.

Leave it alone. Young girls vary in their opinion, but eventually it won't matter. If someone doesn't like it, then they don't like you. Beside, it makes you more of a cuddly teddy bear.
