LOLOLOL...what? Are you watching through the window?
I have two medium sized dogs and two cats,
that all think they are extra appendages for my body,
and they really must stay close by in case I need them.
The Aussie is content to lay over there and snooze, but the Springer shadows me, watching intently for crumbs or ice chips or whatever may fall on the floor. She has learned though, that when I say "#@#$$^^% MOVE!!!", that I seriously mean it, and she hustles away sheepishly

We don't have a dog, but we do have a couple of cats and a kitten. The kitten (5 months old yesterday) loves to get under our feet no matter where we are or what we are doing, but even more when we are in the kitchen!

not only stepping over but having to remove his head from the counter where he rests it(sitting down) ,paws that reach the back burner ,drool all over the oven window. he's a 10 month old neopolitian mastiff who so far has gotten covered in spagetti sauce, eaten a full leg of lamb frozen ! and everything else he can get a hold of. upside is my counters are always cleaned, no toast crumbs, no crumb too small for Blue to find. in retrospect shoulda named him hoover.

no, but I'm constantly having to step over my cat. This morning I was trying to go up the stairs and the cat waited at the bottom and had turned around to make sure that I was following, but I was so close that I nearly fell.

yes I do
I have a small carpet on front of the stove and one in front of the sink...and he is a Bully, and they HAVE to be touching you at all times...it is just in them..if they walk by you, they touch your leg with their nose..leaving a wet spot...that needs to be cleaned off..
and when cooking they can ONLY think of some food falling on the floor so then can get some....the house could be burning down and they would not leave the stove area with hopes the food will fall..I make him move, he goes to the other carpet, I go to clean my hands, I make him move, he goes to the stove and back and forth....even if I throw some food out of the room, he swallows it whole and runs back..
pain in the knee to me....but I love him...
smile
good luck
