Being (FINALLY!) an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree -- I have the BEST of both worlds:
Late Spring, Summer to Early Fall -- I go up North to the Ranch and work with the Horses, the Crops and do some day trips.
Late Fall, Winter to Early Spring -- I go back down to my HOME in Florida -- and enjoy the mild winters withOUT having to Shovel Snow!

No I love the Winter. Of course I live close to Houston Texas and we don't ever hardly get snow. If I got a ton of snow that answer might be different. It's been almost 80 degrees today. Now we have a cold front coming in tomorrow and by late afternoon tomorrow it will be in the 50's then the 20's-30's tomorrow night.

Snow is depressing when it lasts a long time. Plus, the bulky winter fashions are ugly. My vote is summer, that way you can go to wave pools, wear the coolest and softest clothing, and enjoy the sunny weather!
