Walking and talking??

I know this is gonna sound stupid, but for some reason, I can't do much talking while I walk! It's like, my friend was walking with me the other day, and I couldn't say anything! I don't know why. Even he said he noticed I was quiet when I walked with him. So do all my other friends too! I mean, I can talk, but I say stuff that doesn't make sense. Not gibberish or anything but you get the point. Oh, it only happens when I have some place to be. Like walking to my classes, that's the only time I'm at loss of words... AGH! It's so hard to explain! Anyways, I wanna know if other people are like this too. Do I have some kind of mental problem?

A mental problem? Not even close! You sound like you are simply preoccupied or experiencing anxiety about your next task or place to be . Try this, The next time you are walking to a class or any place you have to be,YOU start a very simple conversation with the person you are with. It could be the weather or a job , just small talk . Even plan out what you want to say before hand and just take one word or sentence at a time. Work on relaxing and no " tough" topics that can cause anxiety.

See if this helps and most important don't build this up to be "Oh no there is something wrong with me". because there is not .

We all have some funky thing about us that makes us unique. I have trouble putting sequences together sometimes. If somebody asks me about a movie that I saw I have a hard time explaining the movie because I have trouble putting things in sequence and vocalizing them but then again I can play complex classical music on the guitar so maybe I'm autistic, who knows? But your OK . Just relax..
