to releive the cramps, take some advil... NOT TYLENOL... advil... not store brand ibuprophen.... advil... next, try these excersises. first, curl up in a ball and just lay on your side, pulling your knees up to your chest. next, stand against a wall, trying to get your whole body to touch the wall. then tell you grandpa that your stomach hurts, and see if he or you has a heating pad. heating pads really help alot. they relax your muscles. if you dont have a heating pad, the squishy kinds of ice pack can usually be put in the microwave, and be used just like a heating pad. try going to www.beinggirl.com for more information, or www.playtextampons.com

Get an empty pepsi bottle and fill it with hot water from the spicket
and put in on your cramps.....if the water is too hot put the bottle in a sock.
Magnets off the fridge ought to help your cramps also.

Stay active. Crank up some tunes and dance around the house. The first day of my period is always the worst for me. Quit a few months I have just felt horrible and laid on the couch all day, but as a result my stomach gets really upset and I end up throwing up. But yea, stay active.... go for a walk... do something. : )

Midol works wonders you can get it from a drug store or walmart etc. cramps are normal some worse than others. Birth control helps alot of peple with their cramps. try using a heating pad on your abdomen that might give you some relief.

I find that for cramps the best thing is to excrcise, nothing strenuous, just a brisk walk. for the rest there are products like midol for other symptoms, but if it continues go to your doctor so he can check you out properly.
