check your coolant and if it is low then add some...a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water. Look for a leak while you are there and repair it as soon as possible. If you can't find the leak then yes take it to your dealer or local repair shop and have them check it.
Good luck

i own a repair shop,in Tennessee, and its not necessary to go to a dealer for this repair,it has a sensor on the reservoir bottle that goes bad ,that causes this to happen its a real simple repair to make, you can purchase the sensor from a parts store ,or from a dealer to get the original one ,but either one works really well, and it takes a few minutes to install ,the part should cost around 12 bucks at the most,,but i been at this for 36 yrs,,and that's what has happened to it ,also you might want to keep an eye on the coolant level for a while just in case the sensor is telling the truth about it,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.

You don't have enough antifreeze..check your owners manual on what type you need to use, and add to the radiator under the hood or the reservoir. again, check owners manual. you dont need to go to a shop for this
