Alligators and crocodiles co-exist in South Florida. The American Crocodile and the American Alligator will sometimes cross paths in areas of South Florida. The Everglades in known to have both species co-exist with each other.

The only 2 species of alligators in the world are the American and the Chinese. Crocs are very widespread, and I'm pretty sure crocs exist in both alligator species' ranges.
