1.) Is y=2x^2 - 5 symetric with respect to the x-axis, y-axis, or the origin?

2.) The Graph of y = (x-2)^2 would be shifted up, down, right, left; thinner or wider from/than the graph of y=x^2?

3.) The Graph of y = 3x^2 would be shifted up, down, right, left; thinner or wider from/than the graph of y=x^2?

I need to know how to do these, so can you please show me how you got the answer?

Your book would really help out, itl be on the test. Or use a TI 83 or 89 to graph it and thatl make life a whole lot easier.
