yep. The swastika was once actually a good luck symbol, but Hitler got ahold of if and corrupted it completely. Nazi's didn't just kill the Jews. They killed anybody that threatened their "mission". They raped and terrorized millions. The Jews were just their first target, at that time they were the biggest non-christian religion, so Hitler wanted them out of the way first.
So yes the swastika can be offensive to all. ESPECIALLY the Jewish.

Yes. The Swastika was originaly a good-luck symbol that was deliberately adopted and "personalised" by the Nazis. However, post WWII, the symbol has accumulated so much evil that few would think of the Swastika's original meaning unless they had researched the origins carefully themselves.
To fail to be offended is to lack empathy, unless one is knowledgeable of context that would imply that it was not in fact glorifying Nazism.

pupils have the comparable rights as adults whilst they're in college. the 1st modification helps religious freedom. as long because of the fact the emblem isn't in-your-face obvious- jewelery is effective, and as long because of the fact the shirt isn't too offensive (I recommend that interior the final way plausible). Yea, i think of all religious symbols must be allowed. people who do no longer like it may suck it up. there's a Jewish toddler at my college. He wears his little hat each and all the time, and no one bothers him approximately it, and he does not attempt to witness to people each and all the time. and there's a Wiccan lady at my college too. She wears dark clothing and rings- yet what she wears isn't obvoiusly satanic.

The swastika is an ancient religious symbol. You will find it in many ancient cultures. As a matter of fact, a Hindu would recognize it as a good luck symbol.

It all depends on who CHOOSES to be offended. It seems people are wanting or looking for something to be offended about. If someone is offended over a stupid symbol it's their own fault! Can we stop lying in bed losing sleep worrying about what we choose to be offended about the next day. People, GROW UP!!

A symbol in and of itself does not offend me, but the Nazi and Neo-Nazi movements and what those involved in them do offend me. Hitler was a wicked man and those who espouse and carry out his beliefs are also wicked.
