You can start by keeping a record of your last one, and figuring out how many days on average it takes before you bleed. That way, you'll have a good estimate of when the next one should arrive. It's not always 28 days for all women. Some are shorter and some are longer.
If you want to know when your next period is due, try work out when your last one was. Or check to see if you have any PMS symptoms.

count 28 days from the start of your last period. You should make a note of whenyour period starts and then you will get an idea of how many days your cycle is. 28 days is the norm, but it can be a couple of days either side. If you are worried, ask your doctor.

count from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next one. that is how long your cycle is (# of days) then use that number to figure out the next few months with relative accuracy. however, stress and coming off birth control can screw up your cycle. i've gotten so stressed out about college and papers and stuff like that that i have actually missed periods before. don't worry, it's normal if you're not always right on time.

Ok, you can keep a calendar. Or if you don't have one there is a great website that has a period predictor on it. Go to www.beinggirl.com the under period there is a period predictor.
I will tell you when ovulationg strats and when PMS begins and when your period begins, and no personal info is needed exept the date of your last period was.

its roughly every 28 days, so count 28 days from the first day of your last period, and that's when you should start again.
